Inside the lodge

The interior was clearly renovated not long ago, warm wood-paneled walls paired with new LVP floors, a rustic dining table with cross-back chairs, and a sage-green sofa visible through to the living area at the far end. A stainless refrigerator anchors the kitchen corner, with dark cabinetry and a clean countertop setup that handles real cooking without any fuss. The living area gets natural light through large sliding glass doors that open toward the lake, and a ceiling fan keeps air moving on summer afternoons.

Where you'll sleep

Two bedrooms sleep four, each with its own personality. One room features a queen bed in sage-green linens with a fishing-lure print above the headboard, restful and unpretentious. The single bathroom serves both bedrooms.

Outside your door

This is where Spider Lake earns its reputation. A wide dock extends into the lake with seating for eight at two glass-top tables, the view across the water to the wooded island in the middle of the lake is genuinely stunning. A swim ladder hangs off the floating platform, and photos show kids launching themselves off the edge into clear blue water. Sandy beach access runs right alongside the dock.
